haha... today after lunch i went to the library... at 1.30pm... it's only a 5 minute walk from my house to the library... i asked if i could register for a new library card... they said i needed my passport and something that shows where i was living... so i just browsed around first... there were cds! i finished one book there and strolled back... i got my passport and bank statement and then went back again to register... and i could borrow straight away! there was a trolley of books/magazines for sale... 10 cents for mags and 25 cents for paperbacks... i spent 25 cents on the New Testament of the Bible... haha... just buy for fun n read lor... wanted to buy old Readers Digest but decided not to... i oso borrowed a Chopin CD, plus a Shostakovich/Beethoven CD... and 5 books... not those thick thick novels la, just Babysitters Club... long time no read la... anyway the library lets u borrow as many books as you want... gosh, imagine bringing a load of books home... haha... anyway books can be borrowed for 3 weeks and CDs, a week... haha... i think i can go library every day liao... somemore got free internet there i think... they have special large print books and cd books oso... so cool... and then i went home at around 5...
go home liao go online... tok for 2 hours then go eat dinner at 7+... dunno later do what... maybe tml go library again... if i finish those books i borrows today... =)
by the way please congratulate me for burning my very first (and second) CD today... i just copied the Chopin CD (2 discs) and used Windows Media Player to burn it... hooray! and as i am testing it now, it works! yeA!!!!
